I think that the first article is a good point people don't think about. People don't realize that they are the problem, they just blame the government. It is much easier for people to blame our government. I think people are to lazy to figure out the real problem is, people should be trying to elect officers that they know will make a difference, and try to change the government. They should be doing more then just watching TV, and skimming through the news paper. The news has become just for entertainment. I don't think the people hear the real issues from the news. They just hear the conflicts, and not what they are trying to do to solve the conflict. The second article, it is talking about how much America will be in debt in the future. He also is talking about how that the baby boomer generation will be retiring soon, and that will be the biggest cause for our debt.
